 Why Breed Rats?

 Hello, my name is Katie and I am a junior in high school and currently in Mrs. Hammerberg's Vet Science Class. Vet Science is an agricultural class, and I therefore need a SAE Project (Supervised Agricultural Experience). Considering it's a Vet class, I figured I'd do something with animals and I already owned Maggie and Isabelle, so all I needed to get was Pappi. I am working on this project with my friend Molly, hence the name K & M Rattery, who is in Vet Science with me. We do not have a litter yet, because we need somewhere to sell the babies. Getting A Rat From Us

I am currently compiling a waiting list and I will begin breeding when I have 10 rats on the waiting list. We are based out of Wenatchee, WA, and will not ship rats, local pick up only. The rats we breed will be sold at $5.00 ea. (we have to spend 5 hours and make $50.00 for our SAE project). If you wish to obtain a rat from us please call (509) 670-8599. I will need time to breed and raise the rats to 6 weeks old, at which point I will contact you for pick up. It should take about 10 weeks since this is the first litter.
